Tricel Novo and Tricel Vento: two different wastewater treatment solutions, two different needs
Throughout the years, Tricel has been developing many emblematic products. When it comes to primary wastewater treatment, two of them have been distinguishing themselves: our best-seller, the Tricel Novo and our septic tank, the Tricel Vento. Two systems, different in many ways, but both efficient and trustworthy.
Tricel Novo:
Our Tricel Novo, is trustworthy and easy to install sewage treatment plant that will suit your household’s needs for years. It is locally manufactured in Kerry by a team of experts who cares about you. It is perfect for every type of project, from domestic to light commercial (up to 50PE). Our wastewater treatment plants are made of SMC, a fiberglass-based compression moulded material known for its quality and resistance. When it comes to the treatment process inside the plant, the magic is happening in three stages. The Tricel Vento works in three steps: the primary settlement on stage 1, the aeration on stage 2 and the final settlement for the last stage of purification.

- Compression moulded SMC tank, synonymous with strength and durability.
- SMC is a unique material in the wastewater treatment industry. Throughout the years, we have been operating in some of the harshest climatic conditions and no defects have been observed. It is also a lightweight and compact solution, easing the installation process of your wastewater treatment system.
- Tricel’s ceramic diffuser has been proving to last twice as long as all standard competitors rubber equivalents.
- No concrete backfill for installation = limiting cost-running and commissioning time.
- No moving parts or pumps in the tank
Tricel Vento:
Tricel’s septic tank is known for its resistance and its blow moulding process, which is one the most technologically advanced features available in the industry. The Tricel Vento Septic Tank is respecting your dwelling’s needs. In order to ensure a high treated wastewater quality, you will need a designed site such as a percolation area. Inside the tank, the treatment process works in a way where the water discharge (the solids) will always end up going to the bottom of the tank. Once the separation happens, the domestic wastewater can go through the outlet pipe for its last treatment.
Septic tank main features:
► All Tricel Vento septic tanks are EU Certified to EN12566-1.
► The Tricel Vento is made from a high density and lightweight material called polyethylene (time-saver and cost efficient when it comes to installation)
► Ideal for restricted and compact sites, including dry ones and gravel backfill.
► The Tricel Vento comes complete with an integrated outlet filter system for increased solids removal and soakaway protection, extending the life of the soakaway.
► Safe, lids are fully securable for onsite safety

The Tricel Puraflo
As a polishing filter, Tricel Puraflo fits for secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment applications. It is ideal for environmentally sensitive sites, such as in water table protection areas who usually require a higher level of treatment.

The Sandcel by Tricel is a sand polishing filter that provides a dual function of polishing the effluent from a primary wastewater treatment system and disposing of the treated liquid into groundwater.

- Fully complies with planning regulations and council requirements
- Eliminates the risk of substandard non compliant installations
- Ideal for smaller sites with restricted area as it is discharged to a gravel base underneath the filter box
