With its Water Services Act 2012, the Irish government is working on limiting water pollution by inspecting individual installations throughout the country. The aim? Making sure that your sewage treatment solution is working properly, no matter the system you are using. It applies to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tricel.ie\/wastewater-treatment\/septic-tanks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">septic tanks owners<\/a>. This is your responsibility to make sure that you are respecting the regulations on your property and that you are not outlawed. To help you with the selling process, the EPA created a checklist that goes through all the do and don\u2019t.<\/p><h3>Dos and donts<\/h3><ul><li>Every household in Ireland was asked to register their DWWTS by the 1st February 2013. If you haven\u2019t done it, please do so as soon as possible as you might expose yourself to a fine of up to 5 000\u20ac.
