THE CHALLENGE
Extra water storage needed for an expanding university
Tricel Killarney is happy to have won the selection of manufacturing and installing six new sectional water storage tanks at the University of Galway.
The university campus, on the banks of the River Corrib has grown enormously over the last number of years. The University currently boasts five Colleges, 16 Schools and over 60 academic disciplines to add to its portfolio and currently rank in the top 1% for universities worldwide.
Due to the ongoing development of the city campus, an additional 32,000 litres of water services were required due to the expansion of student accommodation within the city. We chose a Sectional Tank Installation.
TRICEL SOLUTION
The subcontract order was received on the 11th of June, highlighting the requirements in terms of capacities, sizing and type of storage tank . Our production team manufactured the GRP panels and assembled the water tank packs in order to transport to site.
