Meter Box Cover which sits over an existing recessed electric meter box. Fits easily to hide damaged or unsightly meter boxes. Supplied with hinges, lock and key.

Fitting instructions

  • Position the over-box to cover the existing meter box. (The removal of the existing architrave of the meter box may be necessary)
  • Mark the four holes on the brickwork/plaster
  • Drill the brickwork/plaster and, using appropriate Rawl plugs, screw the overbox onto the wall using (50×3.5mm) screws.
  • If necessary, apply sealant around the edge of the frame

Delivery

Delivery is Free Of Charge (FOC).

Deliveries are made with 2 to 4 working days

The courier for a pallet is Dennehy’s.

The courier for a package is TNT.

 

Tracking 

Tracking is only possible with TNT. We will supply you by email with a tracking number, which you can track on TNT website.

For items being shipped on a pallet, please contact us for updates regarding your delivery.

 

Delivery time

Normal delivery times in Ireland vary from 2 to 4 working days once dispatched. If for any reason your delivery is delayed, we will contact you by email to keep you updated.

Please note that we do not ship products to countries other than Ireland and Northern Ireland. If you reside in another country, please contact us for further assistance.

 

Forklift requirements

All Electrical Enclosures and Plinths will be delivered on a pallet. The customer is required to have a forklift and someone on-site to offload.

The Electrical Meters Boxes will be delivered as a parcel.

Q. Is this a full box or just the door and frame?
A. This is a flush-fitted outer cover (door and frame) designed to go over your existing recessed electric meter box.
 
Q. Can I paint the cover to match my wall?
A. Yes, the GRP material is fully paintable using exterior-grade paint.
 
Q. What tools or materials do I need for installation?
A. A drill, raw plugs, 50mm x 3.5mm screws, and optional exterior sealant for the frame edges.
 
Q. Is this cover weatherproof?
A. Absolutely. It is built for outdoor use and resists rain, UV, and corrosion.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return items to us within 28 days of delivery.

All items must be returned in the original packaging with order details enclosed.
