  Have bought Grundfos shower pump from different shop and Tricel come over today on behalf of Grundfos relating the warranty claim. Engineer Paul N arrived and informed me that there is nothing wrong with the pump. I shall have the tap fully open be sure have pressurized the water. This is not right and not correct. Most case and situation you does not require the tap to be fully open to have supplied water as sometimes is enough to have tap open in halfway or less to be sure water will be pressurized. So once the tap is half way open water flowing as shall be then pump switched off and then no water coming or very little and then pump kicks in and you have water supply. He told me that the new one will behave the same way. Before I have bought the pump which is the most expensive pump on marked was assured this is the right direction to go and not. In the manual there is a note of 0.5l/min minimum water flow to be sure the pump operate and solution is to increase the flow. The flow is about 0.75 per minute and pump is still switching off and not supposed to. Once increase it to 0.8l/pm then the pump kicks in and working as shall be. This is over 50% difference. Such terrible service on behalf of Grundfos. Have called in shop I bought my pump and hopefully no one will have to dealt with Tricel.

Quick update: Your engineer did not test it the minimum flow as based only on the assumption that is bellow the minimum design flow. As you can clearly see in above post minimum is 0.5l/min and i have test it with 0.75/0.8 and then pump starts operating as shall be. This been shared with Grundfos as is not working as expected. Have ask for one more visit to verify the minimum flow when pump continusly working which is approx. 0.8l/min as does not operate with minimum 0.5 - 0.75l/min flow. Thanks

22.03 Grundfos helped me to resolve the issue with the pump. What looks like Tricel engineer have no clue about these pumps! Avoid if possible and once you are going to lodge call with Grundfos ask for different  engineer than Tricel
