About Us

Originally formed in 1973, the company was first known as Killarney Plastics. Its initial area of focus was the manufacturer of durable composite and GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). Over time this family-owned business quickly expanded both in size and offerings due to the company’s high standard of quality and constant dependability.

Using highly focused business practices and continuously supplying products of exceptional quality, the company quickly grew into what it is today. We are known globally as Tricel, a leading provider of solutions-based products for multiple leading businesses in a variety of industries.

The company began as a manufacturer of GRP products and has evolved into a multinational corporation. Currently, Tricel has divisions that are devoted to water storage, environmental protection, construction, and distribution, including materials and oils. With 12 operating locations throughout Europe, we possess a broad and distinct range of capabilities that enable us to supply a comprehensive range of products to over 50 countries globally.

A company ethos of “Generations of Innovation” is built around three interlinking themes; Innovation, Quality, and Heritage, which have been developed over the last 60 years of successful operations. We design, develop and deliver innovative, quality solutions that our customers can trust. Our proven ability to absorb, improve, and generate new technologies, materials, and processes have long been a source of Tricel’s sustainability, competitiveness, and growth.  Tricel currently exports 75% of its products worldwide.

We guarantee both quality and dependability with every undertaking, this forms the foundation upon which our company’s success and growth are built.
