THE CHALLENGE
This case study takes place on a site where the client was looking for a solution to upgrade their old septic tank. The solution had to be environmentally friendly according to the EPA Code of Practice and fit the ground of the area where the customer is based.
Builder involved J. Murphy Groundworks from Kerry.
The Installation
The customer wanted to upgrade his septic tank and had a few requirements for the soil. The customer lived in a wet area, meaning the ground was full of water, so the treated water from the septic tank needed to be as clean as possible.
This was the first specificity of the project. Secondly, the garden of the customer was located near a stream. The stream’s proximity to this Sewage Treatment Plant Ireland project meant that the customer should install a tertiary treatment system.
J. Murphy Groundworks installed the secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment.
The Tricel Novo and the Tricel Sandcel were installed within a few weeks.
TRICEL SOLUTION

The company supplied a pumped Tricel Novo 6 PE and a Sandcel polishing filter, the ideal solution for this Sewage treatment plant Ireland project.

Due to the nature of the ground and the proximity of the stream, the owner was required to have a high level of filtration. For this reason, the Sandcel sand polishing filter was chosen. Tricel provided a complete solution with complementary features that fit the customer’s enquiry and ground requirements.
The Feedback
A few weeks later, a technician came on-site to check if the plant was working correctly. He answered the owner’s questions about the system and delivered any additional information the owner wanted.
