Overview
The Tricel Novo Wastewater treatment plant is our timeless best-seller. It has fixed bed technology and three chambers to ensure a three-stage purification process.
Stage 1: In this chamber, the solids (mud and grease) are separated from the water. The grease will create a thin scum layer at the top and mud will fall to the bottom of the plant.
Stage 2: After being separated from the solid, the liquid enters the second chamber for bacterial digestion.
Stage 3: Through an airlift system, mud residues transported along with the water are returned to the primary chamber.

Overview
The Tricel Vento, with its two-step purification process, the tricel vento makes septic tanks lighter, easier to install and transport.
Stage 1: The solids fall to the bottom of the Vento as the liquids flow into the next chamber with a thin layer of scum at the surface.
Stage 2: The liquid is treated in the second chamber, before exiting through an outlet filter.
Secondary & Tertiary wastewater treatment
If you are located in a sensitive area, you might require a secondary or tertiary wastewater treatment system in addition to your primary solution.
The Tricel Tero is a tertiary wastewater system that purifies the treated effluent from a packaged treatment plant. It has been tested for e coli treatment efficacy, is compact, easy to install & simple to maintain.
The Tricel Puraflo can be used after a septic tank, it is a secondary filter system that uses coconut fibre to achieve a high level of pathogen and nutrient reduction.
The Tricel Sandcel is a sand-polishing filter made from layers of sand and pea gravel with GRP panels. It can be used below or above ground.

Tricel Novo & Vitae
Both are wastewater treament plant solutions manufactured by Tricel. Wastewater treatment plants offer a superior quality of treatment. For example, the Tricel Novo comprises of three independent wastewater treatment zones and offers an average of efficiency of 95.9% BOD removal.
This is a higher treatment standard than the effluent from a septic tank. Please note: all wastewater treatment plants used in Ireland must comply with the EN12566-3 standard and all septic tanks must comply with the EN12566-1 standard..
Tricel Vento
The septic tank from Tricel is manufactured as a primary treatment. Designed for the settlement of your effluent. This product may need an additional treatment like the Sandcel or Puraflo.

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE WASTEWATER PRODUCED?
The required standards are 20:30:20 BOD, SS, NH4. All Tricel produces exceed the requirements when tested to En12566-3 and comply with SR66.
